Daniel Stein – Owner & Kitchen Remodeling Contractor in Broward County, FL

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Daniel Stein is the owner and lead remodeling contractor at A To Z Kitchens and Remodeling, serving homeowners throughout Broward County and South Florida. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Daniel was raised around the construction industry, learning firsthand from his father, a civil engineer.

Daniel earned a degree in Business Marketing from the University of Miami and was also a member of the Miami Hurricanes football team. In 1992, following Hurricane Andrew, he gained hands-on experience working with top construction contractors throughout Miami and South Florida — a pivotal moment that shaped his career in home renovation and remodeling.

With over 30 years of experience in construction and kitchen remodeling, Daniel specializes in custom kitchen renovations, cabinetry, and full home remodeling projects. Kitchen renovations remain his favorite area of focus due to their ability to transform how families live and gather in their homes.

In 2015, Daniel and his wife Kay were honored by the Mayor of Hollywood, FL, receiving the “Beautification of Hollywood” award for completing one of the most improved renovation projects in the community.



Daniel and Kay have been partners in both life and business since 2000. Together, they have built a family-owned remodeling company rooted in quality craftsmanship, trust, and community involvement. Outside of work, Daniel coaches youth football, plays team tennis, and enjoys photography.

Kay Stein – Lead Kitchen Designer & Interior Design Specialist in Broward County, FL

With more than 30 years of experience in interior design, Kay Stein is the lead kitchen designer at A To Z Kitchens and Remodeling, helping homeowners throughout Broward County and South Florida turn their dream kitchens into reality.



Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Kay was named Most Likely to Succeed and graduated valedictorian of her high school class before studying Interior Design at the University of Houston. Her background combines creative vision with strong business acumen — a rare and valuable combination in the remodeling industry.

Kay’s entrepreneurial success spans both interior design and real estate development. Alongside her husband, Daniel Stein, she built a successful residential real estate business and brings over 10 years of hands-on experience flipping homes in South Florida. Under the mentorship of Armando Montelongo, author of Flip and Grow Rich, Kay developed a keen understanding of how design, budgeting, and timelines directly impact a project’s success.

Specializing in custom kitchen design, space planning, and budget-conscious remodeling, Kay works closely with clients to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget — a key factor in delivering exceptional results and long-term client satisfaction.

Known for her innovative, client-focused approach, Kay helps homeowners identify design styles that complement their homes and fit their family’s lifestyle. By paying close attention to each client’s needs, she consistently delivers kitchens that are both beautiful and functional.

When she’s not designing kitchens, Kay enjoys spending time with her two sons and is an avid tennis player.
